Algebra formula for time

Introduction to algebra:

Algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning the study of the rules of operations and relations, and the constructions and concepts arising from them, including terms, polynomials, equations and algebraic structures. Together with geometry analysis, topology, combinatorics, and number theory, algebra is one of the main branches of pure mathematics. Different arithmetic operations are used in Algebra Solver problems.

             Time = `(Distance) / (Speed)`

Example problems for algebra formula for time
Algebra formula for time example 1:

A man traveling in a car with the speed of 40km per hour. He made a trip to village in 5 hours. How many kilometers he traveled in 5 hours.

Solution:

       Given,  Speed = 40km per hour

            Time taken = 5 hours

Formula:

` Time = (Distance) / (Speed)`

Rearrange the above formula, we get

   Distance = Time * Speed

Substitute the given values, we get

  Distance = 5 * 40 km

                   = 200 km

He traveled a distance is 200km in 5 hours.

Answer:

 The final answer is 200km.

Algebra formula for time example 2:

               A train traveling with the speed of 35 km per hour from AB to BC. The distance between AB to BC is 735 km. How long it takes to reach the total distance.

Solution:

        Given, Speed of the train = 35 km per hour

                       Total distance = 735 km

Formula:

           ` Time = (Distance) / (Speed)`

Substitute the given values in the above formula, we get

            Time = (735 km) / (35 km / h)

            Time = 21 hour

Answer:

      The final answer is 21 hour

Algebra formulas for time example 3:

           A plane traveling from America to London in 3 hours. The distance between America to London is 1440 km. Find the Speed of the plane per hour.

Solution:

     Given, Distance = 1440 km

                     Time = 3 hours

Formula:

          Time = `(Distance) / (Speed)`

For finding speed rearrange the above formula, we get

        Speed = `(Distance) / (Time)`

Substitute the given values in the above formula, we get

        Speed = `(1440 km) / (3 Hours)`

                  = 460 km per hour

The speed of the plane is 460 km per hour

Answer:

 The final answer is 460 km per hour

Practice problems for algebra formula for time
